The High Forge Council
The High Forge Council is the central governing body of Mossak Dum, composed of representatives from the most prominent dwarven clans. Each clan elects a Forgewarden, who sits on the council to represent their interests. Decisions are made collectively, with the High Forge Chancellor, a position rotated among the clans every decade, serving as the tiebreaker in any decision made. The council ensures that the traditions of the dwarves are upheld while navigating the complexities of diplomacy, trade, and internal disputes.
Forgewardens
Forgewardens are esteemed leaders of their respective clans, chosen based on merit, age, and skill of craft. They oversee their clan’s governance and manage specific responsibilities such as mining operations, trade negotiations, or magical research. Forgewardens wield significant influence and act as intermediaries between the council and their clans.
